About Computer Comforts
Established in 1987, Computer Comforts designs and manufactures classroom computer furniture. Our company evolved dramatically over the past 20+ years. In the 1980s, we focused on the unique needs in CAD/Drafting environments. We soon added a line of technical furniture for data centers (server racks, tech benches, etc.). Over the past decade, our primary focus has been in the education market. We recognize the many challenges in today’s electronic classrooms. By collaborating with colleges around the country, Computer Comforts has designed many the innovative products throughout this website.
Shifting our focus from corporate America to the college campus created new challenges. Our college customers did not have the same budgets as our Fortune 500 customers. We needed to build a quality product that was also affordable. We succeeded by making these products available to our customers FACTORY DIRECT. By eliminating the traditional middleman found in the furniture industry, we are able to offer our products at a great value.
Our company representatives are strategically positioned throughout the U.S. for regional support (Chicago, Orlando, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, etc.). Our modern 80,000 square foot factory and home office are located in Texas.

Since all our computer tables carry a LIFETIME warranty, quality materials are extremely important. Because we use 16 gauge steel in our welded frame design, combined with a high density wood core top, our furniture is very durable. All our steel components are powder-coated with a scratch-resistant, textured finish. Most of our business is a result of repeat orders which testifies to the quality of our products.
