When College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX added two new buildings to their campus, the designers and architects turned to Computer Comforts, Inc. to furnish their Testing Centers and Training Labs with our specialty PV Testing Carrels (that meet Pearson Vue testing station requirements), along with our Split-Level Computer Training Tables.  The Carrel Tables uniquely fit the needs in the Testing Centers in both the new Administration Building and the STEAM/Allied Heath Building on this growing campus south of Houston.  The Testing Carrel functions for computer testing, then the keyboard/mouse can be conveniently stored in the tabletop pocket to allow open space for paper testing.  The optional CPU Holder is mounted off the ground to hold a multitude of PC box sizes, if needed.  The inset arched front edge of the Carrel Table promotes a comfortable and private sitting position for each testing student.

The Split-Level Tables work well for computer training labs where clear line-of-sight is vital during classroom training and audio/visual presentations.

Also, our mobile Freedom Cart with sit/stand tilting front worksurface was the College’s preferred classroom Lectern, due to its versatility and solid design. A convenient back-up portable charging battery was also added to each Cart to keep tablets, cell phones or laptops charged during classroom training and functions (it is the small unit adhered to the inside back wall, on top of the lower shelf).
